Dont bother. Move on. Groupon continues to screw over shoppers.
Before doing any business with Groupon and Snap by Groupon I would encourage everyone to visit their Facebook page.
Hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of complaints. And it only gets worse.
I was very critical, like many users of this app, of the way that Snap by Groupon keeps changing the rules with how they do business.
Recently Snap by Groupon completely re-tooled the Snap app. Now it is not about couponing like Checkout 51. Its something completely different.
Here is the rub: all of the money that shoppers had in their accounts that was under the $20 threshold for pay outs in not being refunded to shoppers. Instead its going to Groupon bucks. We dont want Groupon bucks. We want our money. Groupon changes the rules and then keeps our money??? Thats not acceptable. Pay us out so we can leave.
I used to use this app quite a lot.
And then Groupon bought it. The products offered rarely, if ever, updated. Months would go by before I could ever make a claim.
And then last fall the offers just stopped. Nothing ever updated. Ever.
Groupon just announced that they are completely re-tooling the whole app and unless you have reached the $20+ threshold to cash out you could either take a due bill on Groupon or sacrifice whatever money you have in your account.
Users are extremely unhappy. Hundreds of posts on Snap by Groupons Facebook page. Groupon doesnt seem to be concerned whatsoever. I dont want a due bill for Groupon. I want my money. Dont do business with these people. Unethical. Dishonest.
